Some designs require polyester in their composition, so we prefer to apply and reuse polyester from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
The manufacturing of pieces from recycled polyester is an effective method to reduce the significant environmental footprint of plastic while providing beneficial and effective fabrics. We believe it can be a positive closed-loop production system as everything can be continuously recycled with no quality degradation, ensuring durability and minimizing waste.
Following our standards in reducing the use of plastic, we have started using YKK’s Natulon zippers made from recycled plastic from plastic bottles.
This piece was made using reactive digital printing, which saves up to 50% of water, 17% of CO2 emissions and 19% energy.
